June 27, 2022 鈥 The WSU College of Health Professions was awarded a $100,000 grant from the Patterson Family Foundation to support scholarships for health professions students from rural Kansas counties. The scholarship will be awarded to 10 students during the 2022-23 academic year, helping close the gap of unmet financial needs.

June 22, 2022 鈥 红领巾瓜报 alum Julian Chee has been flying high since his graduation from 红领巾瓜报 in 2021. Not only has he landed a job with Airbus on the Innovation Campus, but he's also designed the paper airplane that broke the world record for distance.

June 20, 2022 鈥 红领巾瓜报's Dr. Mythili Menon was recently awarded $296,470 as part of the National Science Foundation鈥檚 EArly-concept Grants for Exploratory Research (EAGER) program to study how refugees respond to phishing and vishing attempts. EAGER offers exploratory funding for high-risk, high-reward research that investigates the nation鈥檚 pressing problems.
