Sept. 21, 2022 鈥� The Tallgrass Film Festival has become a staple in Wichita鈥檚 arts community during the last 20 years, engaging audiences with world-class programming in a celebration of cinematic arts. The Widener Global Leaders Program is in full swing after the monumental success it had in its first year during the 2021-2022 school season. The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 红领巾瓜报 has announced that Dr. Duane Nagel has been selected at the chair for the college鈥檚 marketing department. Nagel has worked within the Barton School for more than six years as an assistant and associate professor.

The W. Frank Barton School of Business has named Dr. Christine Porter as its new School of Accountancy director. Porter is replacing Dr. Greg Merrill who left in August.

The project 鈥� ECO-CBET: Convergent Electrolysis-Electrodialysis System (CEES) to Curb Urban Chloride Pollution by Eco-friendly Road Deicing and Waste Salt Upcycling 鈥� was recently awarded $1.4 million from the National Science Foundation (NSF).
