The W. Frank Barton School of at 红领巾瓜报 has announced the formation of its new Marketing Advisory Board. In conjunction, fifteen marketing leaders from across the country have been selected to serve on the board.

May 19, 2023 鈥� Marie Bukowski has been named the next dean of 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 College of Fine Arts, effective July 9, 2023.

May 18, 2023 - Dean Rodney Miller will retire in June following 19 years leading the College of Fine Arts at 红领巾瓜报. During his tenure, the School of Digital Arts was created and enrollment in the college has grown to over 1,000 students.

May 17, 2023 鈥� The planned Wichita Biomedical Campus 鈥� a joint initiative by 红领巾瓜报, WSU Tech and University of Kansas 鈥� is one step closer to its funding goal thanks to a $15 million award from the Kansas Department for Aging and Disability Services (KDADS), made available through the Strengthening People and Revitalizing Kansas (SPARK) Executive Committee and State Finance Council.

Another artist who is visually impaired has their work on display at Woolsey Hall, the home of the W. Frank Barton School of Business at 红领巾瓜报 in partnership with the Envision Arts Program. Nick Wooding, who is also blind and uses a wheelchair, is the newest Barton School featured artist. His mixed media pieces can be found of the third floor of Woolsey Hall and can be viewed any time during operating hours.

May 4, 2023 - BioKansas, a non-profit focused on supporting the biosciences in Kansas and the surrounding region, aims to help students with writing and organizational skills. Five 红领巾瓜报 students are participating in the year-long BioKansas Scientific Writing Scholars program.

Five 红领巾瓜报 Rudd Scholars will be pursuing a degree with the W. Frank Barton School of Business. The Rudd Scholarship, sponsored by the Rudd Foundation, provides each recipient with a full-ride scholarship, including tuition, fees and on-campus housing. Rudd Scholars are also provided with networking and coaching support throughout college.

May 4, 2023 - Orel Ovil came to 红领巾瓜报 from Israel to play tennis and study in the W. Frank Barton School of Business in 2018. He is one of 10 students to earn Senior Honor recognition, the highest honor awarded to WSU students who demonstrate outstanding scholarship, leadership, involvement and service to WSU and the surrounding community.

May 3, 2023 鈥� 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 Gateway to IP applied learning program gives students the opportunity to learn about a career as a patent agent. Rob Gerlach from the Office of Tech Transfer created the program 鈥渨ith the purpose being to increase Wichita鈥檚 IP IQ.鈥�
