Students make a difference in the community

Student interns and volunteers across aging studies and exercise science are using their skills and training to lead exercise classes across the community.

Through the Well-Rounded Exercise Program (WellREP), older adults engage in student-lead, evidence-based progressive exercise classes designed specifically for them.

From senior centers to senior living communities, more than 500 older adults are served at various locations across the Greater Wichita area.

Curriculum

Students admitted to the accelerated program may enroll in courses for graduate credit (up to nine credit hours) while simultaneously completing their undergraduate degree requirements.

The curriculum available for dual credit covers perspectives of an aging society, health communication in aging and family care management.

An accelerated master鈥檚 degree in aging studies allows you to efficiently acquire a graduate education, opening the door for advancement in a growing field.
