Inside the Program

Get real-world experience in high-tech research lab

In WSU's Human Performance Lab, you'll get to choose your path. As a student researcher, you'll work alongside faculty and be fully supported as you pursue a project or niche that suits your interests.

As you prepare for a career in exercise science, you'll be continuously exposed to research projects, including opportunities to work within local, state and regional companies. Many students who have come before you have gone on to full-time jobs with those very businesses.

Curriculum

The degree requires a minimum of 120 credit hours. You鈥檒l study the natural sciences and human anatomy. Then, you鈥檒l move on to more focused courses such as kinesiology, exercise and sport nutrition鈥攁nd your required field practicum and internship.

A departmental honors track is also available for this major.
