Scholarships and Fellowships for PHS Undergraduate and Graduate Students
The Department of Public Health Sciences offers a variety of scholarships and fellowships for both undergraduate and graduate students admitted to or enrolled in one of our programs.
Undergraduate Students:
- Aetna Scholarship/Fellowship in Public Health Sciences (MHA students may also apply)
- CHP Dean鈥檚 Office Community and General Funds
- HEALTH Student Association Scholarship
Graduate Students:
- Bernice K. Link Endowed Scholarship/Fellowships in Gerontology
- Charles W. & Margaret D. Mullikin Fellowships in Gerontology
- Aetna Scholarship/Fellowship in Public Health Sciences
How to Apply for a Scholarship?
Most University, College, and Departmental Scholarships will use the ScholarshipUniverse master application for the current academic year. Applications open November 1st, with deadlines posted within the system.

- Read the scholarship submission requirements for specific essays and other required documents, as additional information is required for certain awards.
Step 3: Complete a SU Application

- Fill out the ScholarshipUniverse (SU) Application
- Answer matching questions in ScholarshipUniverse
- Review and apply to matched scholarships
Step 4: Submit Supplemental Documents
Step 4: Submit Required Documents
- Turn in essays and other required documents, if necessary, by the deadlines.

Students enrolled in a fully online graduate program pay in-state tuition regardless of where they live, making it an affordable option. The overall tuition and fees will vary be semester depending on part-time or full-time enrollment and how many credit hours needed to complete the program. Total cost per graduate credit hour is $488.20*. |
