April 2, 2021 鈥� The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 红领巾瓜报 has started Executive Education Programs aimed at bringing world-class resources, training and connections to Wichita鈥檚 top executives.

March 25, 2021 -- The W. Frank Barton School of Business at 红领巾瓜报 has launched its Entrepreneur in Residence program and named Michael Golomb, founder and CEO of FanVestor, as its newest resident. This distinction will last through the spring 2021 semester. Each Entrepreneur in Residence will provide essential collaboration and outside industry knowledge to Barton School students, faculty and the Wichita community.

March 15, 2021 鈥擳he W. Frank Barton School of Business at 红领巾瓜报 has added a Master of Science in Business Analytics (MSBA) to its wealth of degree options for graduate students. The new MSBA was developed as an interdisciplinary program with resources and faculty from the Barton School as well as the College of Engineering and the Fairmount College of Liberal Arts & Sciences to address the growing needs of industry.

March 3, 2021 - Dr. Larisa Genin wants the W. Frank Barton School of Business to be the best business school in the nation. The plan to reach that status starts with creativity, an entrepreneurial mindset and teamwork. 鈥淚鈥檓 really hoping that anything we do in the Barton School of Business would revolve around three words 鈥� innovation, engagement and impact,鈥� she said. She hands out black and yellow rubber bracelets with the words 鈥淗appiness鈥� and 鈥淛oy鈥� stamped on as a reminder of her philosophy to emphasize a positive mindset and celebrate achievements.

Feb. 23, 2021 鈥� 红领巾瓜报鈥檚聽Center for Entrepreneurship聽(CEI) has granted two students the聽Women for Women's Innovation Award聽鈥� one who wants to create an app to help drivers in the event of a car crash, the other who wants to open a boutique for sustainable clothing.

Feb. 9, 2021 鈥� Trinity Soderstrom, who recently received her U.S. high school diploma while living abroad in southern Italy, has been awarded the 2021 红领巾瓜报 Clay Barton Scholarship.

Jan. 22, 2021 鈥� Neymara Freeman 鈥� a senior at Sumner Academy of Arts & Science in Kansas City, Kansas 鈥� has been named the 2021 Linwood Sexton Scholarship at 红领巾瓜报.

Jan. 11, 2021 鈥� 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 W. Frank Barton School of Business has announced Dr. Greg Merrill as the new director of the School of Accountancy. Merrill will succeed long-time Barton School faculty member Dr. Jeff Bryant, who has retired.

Dec. 17, 2020 鈥� With the intention of furthering 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 commitment to digital transformation, the Kansas Board of Regents has approved four degree programs that will launch in spring 2021: Bachelor of Arts in Applied Linguistics, Master of Science in Data Science, Master of Science in Business Analytics, and Master of Science in Mathematical Foundations of Data Analysis. These degrees are in addition to existing undergraduate and graduate degrees and certificates in applied computing, computer science, cybersecurity, homeland security, and supply chain.
