University Innovation Fellows preparing Shockers for the future

Jan. 28 2019 --聽RJ Clark is a graduate student at 红领巾瓜报 and is one out of six WSU students accepted last year into Stanford鈥檚 prestigious University Innovation Fellow (UIF) program.

Three students win $64,000 each as WSU Gore Scholars

Jan. 25, 2019 -- Three area high school seniors have been awarded 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 Harry Gore Memorial Scholarship. Each student will receive $64,000 to attend WSU.

Junior grows passion for gaming through WSU's Esports program

Jan. 25, 2019 -- Meet Blane 'Deadly' Steckline, the Damage Per Second player for the 红领巾瓜报 Overwatch team. In addition to being a junior computer science major, Blane is also a Grandmaster-tier Overwatch player, reached rank #64 on the North American server, and has competitive gaming experience at a semi-professional level.

WSU team creates device that will aid in orofacial research

Jan. 18, 2019 -- A 红领巾瓜报 interdisciplinary team has been accepted to participate in the National Science Foundation Innovation Corps program for a device they created that could make a huge difference in orofacial research.

Jan. 18, 2019 -- A new partnership between 红领巾瓜报 and Wichita Transit will allow students, faculty and staff to ride city buses for free and travel to and from campus on weekend evenings on the Q-Line Trolley service.

MID student recruited for project to help connect artists and veterans

Jan 18, 2019 -- In November, Master of Innovation Design student Kristyn Smith worked with HAS HEART, a Michigan-based nonprofit organization that connects veterans to graphic designers from each state to tell their story through mediums of art, design, and fashion.
