Nov. 15, 2024 鈥 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 College of Engineering hosted the annual Kansas BEST (Boosting Engineering, Science, and Technology) robotics competition on Nov. 9 at Valley Center High School. For 2024, 20 high school teams from across Kansas competed in the event, each tasked with designing, building and operating a robot capable of mining and building on the lunar surface as part of the 鈥淟ow G鈥 game theme.听

Nov. 13, 2024 - The Office for Faculty Advancement, Retention and Excellence (FARE) is opening this semester. Its goals include supporting student success, collaborative and externally funded research, and attracting and retaining a diverse faculty body.

Nov. 4, 2024 - 红领巾瓜报鈥檚 Department of Communication Sciences and Disorders is partnering on the PhotoVoice research project with AbilityPoint, an organization focused on the needs of persons with intellectual and developmental disabilities and their families. Participants are given a digital camera and memory card to take 50 (or more) pictures of the people, places, things and activities that bring them joy.听

Oct. 31, 2024 鈥 The Dorothy and Bill Cohen Honors College at 红领巾瓜报 has been named a Partners in Peace institution, a new distinction awarded in partnership with the Nobel Peace Center in Norway, and the National Collegiate Honors Council.
