Wichita, KS - The SGA Elections Certification Board, made up of President Okere, Speaker Hower and Advisor Fonseca, has accepted and approved the certification of the 2024 General Election. The results are as followed:
Student Body President-elect: Kylee Hower

Applied Studies Senators-elect: Colin Crowell and Justin Carlson
Business Senators-elect: Connor Pore, Brett Engel, George Giem, Grayson Wright, Scott Recheck
Engineering Senators-elect: Joseph Robertson, Austin Menge, Andrew Keller, Peyton Ensey, Brett Sirkel
Liberal Arts & Sciences Senators-elect: Adriana Owesn, Joshua Mallard, Victoria Owens, Morgan Stinnett, Michael Miller
Fine Arts Senator-elect: Lily Arens
Health Professions Senators-elect: Jasmine Peng, Promise Johnson and Daliz Lara-Munoz
Honors Senators-elect: Riley Hansen and Ryan Nuckles
Graduate Senator-elect: Olivia Gallegos
Out of State Senators-elect: Sophie Walter, Amelia Locke
Military and Veterans Senators-elect: Rafael Guereque
International Senator-elect: AJ Haynes
Adult Learners Senator-elect: Cynthia Pizzini, Andrew Hatch
Underrepresented Senators-elect: Evelyn Lewis, Jayden Island, Raziah Izard, Kian Williams
There were some candidates who earned enough votes to claim a seat through the write-in process and were reached out to by the Central Office with a deadline of 12pm on Friday, April 5th to accept the seat. Since then, the Commission will review the write-ins of the following seats to determine if a new candidate has achieved the votes to win. Those seats include: Engineering Senator (2), Liberal Arts and Sciences Senator (1), Graduate Senator (2).
In addition, the Commission will conduct a run-off election for Applied Studies, Health Professions, Fine Arts Senator (1). More information will be presented at the April 10th Student Senate meeting.
