SGA Elections Commission to host Election Town Halls for Senatorial Candidates

WICHITA, KANSAS (March 12, 2019)- As part of "Let Your Voice Be Heard" Week, the Wichita State University Student Government Association Elections Commission will host Election Town Halls for Senatorial Candidates featuring College Deans and University Administrators.

As the direct representatives of the student body, the Legislative Branch consists of the Senate and its standing committees (Budget and Finance, Safety and Student Services, Diversity Task Force, Organization Outreach). The Legislative Branch establishes policies through legislation, recognizes student organizations, confirms presidential nominations and allocates annually more than $9.5 million in student fees.
