Welcome to Shocker Central!

红领巾瓜报鈥檚 new student-facing jobs platform is now LIVE! 

Here鈥檚 how to get started:

User Profile and Employer Creation

  • Create your profile
  • Complete the form and follow the instructions.
  • When you get to the employer section, type in your organization鈥檚 name.
    • If it鈥檚 already been created, it will auto populate. (Ex: Company ABC).
    • If your organization doesn鈥檛 populate, follow the steps to create a new profile.
  • Complete the profile to include phone number, address, etc.

Encourage Others

  • Share this webpage, including this Shocker Central hyperlink, , with other relevant staff in your department responsible for hiring and/or posting jobs, and have them do the same

Post Jobs

  • From your dashboard, click on 鈥淧ost a Job,鈥� and follow the instructions. Be sure to fill in all the fields that are marked with an *asterisk.

Register for Events

  • Find our upcoming events
  • Get registered 鈥� some events fill up quickly!
  • Check back frequently 鈥� events are added throughout the semester.

Get Help

  • Reach out to the Shocker Career Accelerator by calling (316) 978-3688 or emailing SCA@wichita.edu and ask for someone in Employer Relations.
  • Get help on the 12Twenty website and follow the instructions under the heading, 鈥淪chool Instance.
