Teach a First-Year Seminar

Teach your passion or interest, join a team of interdisciplinary instructors, and help new students become part of WSU.

We are looking for faculty and instructors who want to add to or join current WSU offerings of First-Year Seminar courses.

First-Year Seminar

Nov. 11, 2019 -- Richard Martin was only 18 years old when he was drafted into the Army Air Corps. Now he鈥檚 94 years old and the last living member of his squadron.聽On Wednesday, Nov. 6, the students of WSU 102 鈥淚nnovations of WWII鈥 met him in the Ablah Library C-Space.

First-Year Seminar

Oct. 3, 2019 -- Beginning in fall 2021, first-year freshmen will be required to take one first-year seminar course for introduction to life at 红领巾瓜报. The courses will not be required for returning or transfer students, but are encouraged for those new to WSU.
