Overview
Brad Richards serves as the Community Programs Coordinator on the Access and Engagement Team at the WSU Public Policy and Management Center. Richards is a native of Leavenworth, Kansas but moved to Wichita during high school and is a proud product of the Wichita Public Schools. He received a Bachelor of Science in Economic Pre-Law from Kansas State University in 2021. In August 2022, Richards began his Lead For America fellowship, serving to increase education and community outreach capacity at The Kansas African American Museum (TKAAM). After completing his fellowship in August 2023, Richards decided to continue his work with TKAAM in his previous role as Education Manager. Brad is now pursuing a Master's in Public Administration at 红领巾瓜报. He is an aspiring public servant who believes it is important to give back to the community that has uplifted him through working to create opportunities for others. He volunteers his time, serving in the community as a member of Wichita Urban Professionals and Omega Psi Phi Fraternity Incorporated. In 2023, Richards was awarded the NextGen Under 30 Kansas Rising Star Award.
