On the competition circuit, Anne earned numerous prizes and awards, namely, 3rd prize in the Konrad Wolff-Ilse Bing Chamber Music Competition 2021, , and others. She was a semi-finalist at the 1st and was also one of the semi-finalists at the . She is currently doing her undergraduate studies under the tutelage of Dr Julie Bees at 红领巾瓜报. Besides piano, Anne plays the violin and is part of the WSU Symphony Orchestra. During her free time, she loves to bake, read, make arts and crafts, and spend time with her family. Anne incorporates her passions and hobbies into charity and volunteer work. For example, she performs at charity concert and retirement centers, and helped with meal preparation to hand out food to the homeless in Malaysia. Generally, doing any kind of volunteer work excites Anne and鈥尘补办别蝉鈥her happy because her end goal is to help make the world a better place.
Anne鈥檚 interest in the Widener Global Leaders Program stems from the opportunity to meet and interact with students from different fields, while being mentored by various industry and community leaders. She looks forward to learning from professionals and building connections. She also very much looks forward to taking part in the service-learning project.
Anne鈥檚 dream job is to lecture in a university or open a music studio of her own. She seeks an internship related to music or one where she can improve her communications skills and business understandings. Ultimately, she wants to work for a company or an organization that battles world hunger. Anne hopes to help fight poverty in poor countries,鈥痑s well as help鈥痯rovide necessities, education, and music exposure to the less privileged children through teaching and performing. She also wishes to inspire and encourage girls and women to chase their dreams no matter the hardships and obstacles that will come their way.
