Admission to the program

The program is open to bachelor鈥檚 degree holders in computer science, computer engineering, electrical engineering or any area related to information technology.

For consideration, you must have a minimum 3.0 GPA (or equivalent score from another country) in your bachelor's degree.

Industry-leading company Textron Aviation has opened up more apprenticeship opportunities to Shocker students.

With more chances to learn hands-on IT skills, students are experiencing what it's like in a corporate environment and putting their classroom knowledge to work.

Curriculum

The program combines study of the theoretical foundations of computing and modern research trends. Courses are taught by nationally and internationally recognized faculty who are active researchers in the fields they teach.

The program consists of at least 30 credit hours and offers three graduating options: thesis, project or coursework.
