Admission to the program

To complete the graduate emphasis in aging studies, you must first be admitted to the 红领巾瓜报 Graduate School.

Inside the Program

Older adults benefit from student-led exercise classes through 红领巾瓜报

Highly trained graduate, practicum and undergraduate internship students are using their skills to lead exercise classes for older adults in the community.

The program is called WellREP and is an evidence-based, progressive exercise class specially designed for older adults.

More than 150 older adults are served at 10 locations in the Wichita area.

Curriculum

The graduate emphasis in aging studies may be taken as part of a graduate degree program in another department. The program is comprised of 12-15 credit hours of study. Students who wish to pursue the aging studies emphasis must fulfill the requirements in both departments.
