Submit to Present Research on Capitol Hill
Each spring, the Council on Undergraduate Research hosts an annual undergraduate poster session on Capitol Hill. At this event and its related activities, members of Congress and their staff members learn about the importance of undergraduate research through talking directly with the student researchers involved in these programs.
This 23rd Annual Posters on the Hill event in Washington, D.C. will take place in the spring of 2019; the date is contingent upon the 2019 congressional calendar. For more information and to apply, visit .
WHEAT Halloween Party
WHEAT's Halloween party will be on October 30th from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM in the Shocker Hall multipurpose room! We'll be having a costume competition (although costumes are optional for the event), decorating pumpkins, and playing Halloween-themed Jeopardy! Pizza and cookies will be provided.
Community Challenge
The Honors Student Council challenges students and faculty to attend 5 or more honors events in the fall semester. Those actively participating will receive an Honors Community Award AND t-shirt at the end of the fall semester! Events that may apply include: Honors Hours, WHEAT, Honors LLC, General Assembly etc.
