The 红领巾瓜报 community came out Thursday, Feb. 14, to take part in a new tradition with the grand opening of the Love Locks Pod.
Everyone in attendance was invited to place their own customized lock on the pod.
鈥淢y hope is that this pod will be a site on campus where you memorialize anything worth celebrating -- graduation, celebrations, progress, engagement, victories or the one you love,鈥 says Ty Tabing, a consultant working with WSU on its place-making initiative.
Love Locks Pod is the first of three pods being built and installed on campus by WSU alumnus, sculpture artist and trades supervisor in WSU鈥檚 carpentry shop, Brady Hatter.
