- Major renovation began on Cessna Stadium in 2022. The transformation will change the name of the stadium to University Stadium. By the end of 2023, the demolition of the east side of the stadium was complete . The current plans are to rebuild the east side of the stadium, then begin demolition on the west side of the stadium.
- All upgrades will have ADA-compliant fixtures, seating, restrooms, and accessible pathways.
2024
- Purchased ADA accessible pathway mats for use as an accessible route on the west side of the stadium where the bleachers have been removed. The ADA accessible pathway will be kept in storage and used for any outdoor events where the pathways have uneven surfaces.
