DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST)

Test Information

The DANTES Subject Standardized Tests (DSST) is designed to allow students and military personnel to receive credit for college classes through examination utilizing non-traditional ways of education through on-the-job training, self-study, and other life experiences.

Registration & Fees

DSST exams are administered year-round on a flexible schedule through the Office of Student Accommodations & Testing (OSAT). The DSST exam cost only $100 plus the administration fee for each examination being taken through OSAT. Candidates who are planning to take the DSST exam will first schedule their exams through and pay the $28 administration fee for each exam. Afterwards, on the day of the test, candidates will be expected to pay $100 by credit card.

Please contact the and arrange for your score(s) to be sent to WSU for evaluation. The credit hours posted to your WSU transcript will be awarded based on the information below.
