To celebrate the economic development/engagement activity that has happened, is happening, and will be happening at 红领巾瓜报, the university is pursuing the Innovation and Economic Prosperity (IEP) designation from the Association of Public & Land Grant Universities (APLU).

Benefits of the IEP Process

The IEP designation self-study process benefits 红领巾瓜报 because it:

Provides 红领巾瓜报 an opportunity to communicate all the ways we are economically engaged locally, regionally, at the state and national levels.
Provides an opportunity for internal and external stakeholders to identify what Wichita State is doing well, and how and where we can improve.

Requires 红领巾瓜报 to define economic engagement as it applies to the university and our activities.
