The Doctor of Physical Therapy (DPT) program at WSU requires specific prerequisites that a student completes during their undergraduate career. The undergraduate degree may be in any major. Students are encouraged to choose an undergraduate major early in their college career. Students who choose the Health Science major may be eligible to claim one of 6 reserved seats in the DPT program via the Health Science to WSU Doctor of Physical Therapy Pathway.

The Master of Physician Associate (MPA) program at WSU requires specific prerequisites that a student completes during their undergraduate career. The undergraduate degree may be in any major. Students are encouraged to choose an undergraduate major early in their college career.

Online Degree Completion

RN (Registered Nurse) to BSN 

The RN to BSN offers a registered nurse, who has received an Associate Degree in Nursing (ADN) and meets the work experience criteria, an advanced placement seeking a Bachelor of Science in Nursing degree.

Dental Hygiene Degree Completion

The degree completion Bachelor of Science in dental hygiene is available to dental hygienists who seek to expand their professional role in such areas as community dental hygiene, teaching in a dental hygiene program, alternative practice settings, or in preparation for a graduate degree.

CHP Minors

The following minors are available to all undergraduate students. Coursework for a minor must be complete by the time you earn your bachelor's degree.

 

CHP Graduate Programs

The College of Health Professions offers graduate programs in aging studies, audiology, health administration, nursing, physical therapy, physician associate, and speech language pathology. Admission to these programs requires a bachelor's degree and fulfillment of specific program prerequisite requirements.

Each badge is designed with the practicing professional in mind so coursework can be completed online and at your own pace. A badge is worth 0.5 credit hours and equates to about 22.5 hours of combined online instruction and study time.
